‘Soft Launch’ of New Website Set for Dec. 6

Creighton University will unveil a new website experience on Dec. 6.

The site will be refreshed with a design that exemplifies the University’s brand and provides an easy-to-navigate user experience.

It has been a monumental effort, involving more than 20,000 pages.

With the size and complexity of the site, the new website will be rolled out in stages. The first pages will be launched Dec. 6, in a “soft launch,” and pages will continue to be updated through early 2022. Work will be ongoing to transfer content over to the new format.

This phased move to one platform will allow for flexibility, continuous improvement and scalability of the site now and into the future.

Creighton has partnered with best-in-class experts, tested the site with students, and completed an extensive quality assurance process to ensure that the website strategically positions the University for the future with its primary audience: prospective students.

Outdated pages have been identified and retired – streamlining the site and making relevant content easier to find. Additionally, backend changes have been made to provide users with a more seamless experience over the entire website and to optimize Creighton’s rankings with search engines such as Google.

With some 30,000 unique visits to the site every day, the new experience is designed to be engaging and reflective of Creighton’s forward momentum.

This work will not affect Blueline, including student coursework and faculty grading sites, or class registration in the Nest.

We hope you enjoy the new website!
