The University is required by Environmental Protection Agency regulations to recycle all rechargeable batteries.
All rechargeable batteries must be in individual, sealed plastic bags. Please do not put multiple batteries into a single bag, because it may cause a fire. However, regular alkaline batteries should not be recycled.
