COVID-19 Compliance Enforcement, Manager Info Sessions Announced

As previously announced, Creighton University is taking steps to be compliant with Presidential Executive Order 14042. This federal mandate requires that all Creighton employees be vaccinated for COVID-19 or obtain a religious or medical exemption by Jan. 18, 2022.

Guidelines for compliance enforcement will follow the progressive framework as currently outlined in the Faculty Handbook and the Employee Performance and Conduct Policy.

The intent of compliance enforcement is to ensure that Creighton University maintains compliance with the federal order and continues to follow the latest COVID-19 guidance for the health and safety of our campus community.

The compliance enforcement document is now available on the Creighton COVID-19 website.

Manager Information Sessions

It is important that leaders across campus be informed on Creighton’s response to Executive Order 14042, to be able to answer questions from their teams and to effectively assist in the implementation of this federal requirement.

To that end, in addition to information provided on our COVID-19 website and accompanying FAQs, live virtual information sessions for managers will be provided on the following dates and times.

  • Tuesday, Nov. 30, 9-10 a.m. (CST), 8-9 a.m. (MST)
  • Tuesday, Nov. 30, 3-4 p.m. (CST), 2-3 p.m. (MST)

Managers are asked to please register for one of these sessions.

A Zoom link will be emailed to you the day before.
