The 2021 University-wide virtual assessment symposium is from 9:45 a.m. to noon (CST), 8:45 to 11 a.m. (MST), and will provide a versatile view of assessment. In our journey with students, curricular and co-curricular faculty and staff will explore moving beyond the standard forms of measurement to novel outcomes and measures at the course and/or program level that provide meaningful evidence of student learning. Curricular and co-curricular assessment efforts at Creighton will be highlighted.
At the end of the symposium, participants will be able to:
- Set targets for success in planning how to identify measures for student learning outcomes to report meaningful and useful findings.
- Choose at least one novel student learning outcome and measure presented and implement it in their 2021-22 course and/or program assessment.
