What is Catholic social teaching (CST)? Why is CST vital to Creighton’s mission? How can faculty and staff further bring CST into their work Division of Mission & Ministry and the Justice & Peace Studies Program will host Catholic Social Teaching: A Lunchtime Series for Faculty and Staff Sept. 3 through April 15.
This eight-part series meets 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. CT on eight Fridays during the 2021-2022 academic year: Sept. 3, Sept. 24, Oct. 22, Nov. 5, Jan. 28, Feb. 18, March 18, and April 15. Each session will convene over free catered lunch, but participants may attend virtually.
Sessions will feature presentations from/discussions with Creighton theologians and other faculty/staff with related expertise. Those who complete this Level 1 series are eligible for the Level 2 series “Living Justice: Catholic Social Teaching in Action.” Register for Catholic Social Teaching: A Lunchtime Series for Faculty and Staff.
