Greenberg Co-Authors Article Published in Energy Research and Social Science

GreenbergPierce Greenberg, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Cultural and Social Studies, and his colleague Dylan Bugden, a PhD candidate at Cornell University, recently published an article in Energy Research and Social Science titled “Energy Consumption Boomtowns in the United States: Community Responses to a Cryptocurrency Boom.” The article examines how a rural community in the state of Washington responded when it became the worldwide center for cryptocurrency mining due to its cheap power supply.
