Bong Han Lee (MS’18) and Sindhuja Suresh (BS‘18) are co-authors on a paper recently published in Journal of Biophotonics. They are members of Creighton’s Translational Biomedical Physics Research Group led by Andrew Ekpenyong, PhD, assistant professor of physics, the senior author of the paper. The work titled “Fluorescence intensity modulation of CdSe/ZnS quantum dots assesses reactive oxygen species during chemotherapy and radiotherapy for cancer cells” is a novel biophysical assay aimed at enhancing radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
