Volunteer to Present During Mini Medical School, Nov. 6

The Creighton Phoenix Mini Medical School is Saturday, Nov. 6, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (MST) and will be held virtually.

Designed for first-generation and underrepresented students in the Phoenix area, grades seventh, eight and ninth, Creighton’s Mini Medical School Program gives youth a look at what medical school is all about. During these sessions, students will hear about health-related topics and take part in hands-on exercises. Sessions include presentations, a panel of medical students, information on health professions and advice on pathways through higher education that lead to them. In addition, students and parents will be introduced to the process of moving toward applying to medical school. Learn more about Creighton’s Mini Medical Schools.

Facilitators are looking for faculty to volunteer or give presentations. Contact Claudia Chambers to volunteer, at [email protected].
