Campus Day of Prayer for Peace and Justice in Afghanistan and Haiti

The recent tragedies in both Afghanistan and Haiti weigh heavy on the hearts of so many in our Creighton Community, along with those Ethiopia, Syria and Burma. Please join in prayer Wednesday, Aug. 18, for critical needs of our world. You may pause between courses or during the work day to add your prayer, silent or spoken.

We offer our own worries and the concerns of those affected to God at our Masses on Aug. 18 at noon and 9 p.m., both in St. John’s Church.

There will also be an hour of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 8 to 9 p.m. to allow for a space of silent prayer and reflection for all members of our community.

St. John’s Parish is open all day. You are always welcome to visit and spend time in personal prayer, or light a candle in this sacred space.
