Greenberg Selected to Participate in National Institute of Health’s Data Science Innovation Lab

GreenbergPierce Greenberg, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Cultural and Social Studies, was selected to participate in a Data Science Innovation Lab sponsored by the National Institute for Health’s Big Data to Knowledge Training Coordinating Center. The lab brings together 30 researchers from across the country to tackle a pressing data-related issue. This year’s theme is “Data Science Challenges in Rural Health and Environmental Exposures.” The lab takes place June 23-28 in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and the goal is to create interdisciplinary teams that submit grant proposals related to the topic.
