Lied Art Gallery director, Jess Benjamin, is currently featured on the Hastings College website. Benjamin is a 2001 studio art graduate from the liberal arts college. Her ceramic artwork focuses on water usage in the Great Plains area and her studio is located in Benson, Nebraska.
Benjamin also has artworks on exhibit at the James May Gallery in Algoma, Wisconsin. Two ceramic sculptures were selected for the Art of Water III exhibition. The show opens on May 3 and is up throughout the month.
