Alexander Roedlach, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Cultural and Social Studies, and director of the master’s program in Medical Anthropology, and Denise Lewis of the Department of Human Development and Family Science at the University of Georgia, have co-edited a set of papers on “Resilience and Wellbeing: Case Studies in Forced Migration” which, along with an Introduction also co-authored by Roedlach and Lewis, will be published in April 2019 as a special issue inMigration Letters. This international journal publishes short articles that highlight research and debates on migration issues. The set of papers was originally presented in April 2018 at the annual meeting of the Society for Applied Anthropology, and includes a work by Stephanie Kohl, a graduate of the master’s in Medical Anthropology program.
