An article written by Timothy J. Cook, PhD (Department of Education) and William J. Hudson was included in the special 20th anniversary issue of Journal of Catholic Education. For the anniversary issue, the Governing Board of the Journal picked a representative sample of the most popular research published in the 20-year history of the Journal. Cook and Hudson’s article is entitled “Toward the Professionalization of Catholic High School Religion Teachers: An Assessment of Religion Teaching as a Profession.” The Journal of Catholic Education is the world’s “longest running and most successful journal devoted to research in the field of PreK-16 Catholic education.”
