Dr. Gail Jensen, professor of Physical Therapy, dean of the Graduate School, and vice provost for Learning and Assessment, led a research team that authored a hallmark educational research study in physical therapy education. This was the first comprehensive national study in over 50 years to investigate excellence and innovation in physical therapy education. Modeled after the Carnegie studies, this research identifies curricular structures, instructional practices, assessment approaches, and environmental characteristics that support the preparation of physical therapy professionals and has the potential to lead to significant educational reform. https://academic.oup.com/ptj/article-abstract/97/9/857/3861652/National-Study-of-Excellence-and-Innovation-in?redirectedFrom=fulltext
