Rabb Named Chair of Department of Neurological Surgery

The School of Medicine has named Craig Hinson Rabb, MD, FACS, FAANS, the inaugural chair of the new Department of Neurological Surgery.

Prior to joining Creighton, Rabb most recently held academic appointments at the University of Utah School of Medicine and University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. His national and international service includes committee work with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), American College of Surgeons, North American Spine Society, Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) and the Joint Section on Neurotrauma and Critical Care (AANS/CNS). He has been named to Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors three years in a row, as well as to America’s Best Doctors for multiple years in both Oklahoma and Utah.

His clinical practice and research interests include deep brain stimulation, neurotrauma and spinal surgery. He holds certification from the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Read more
