Matthew L. Reznicek, PhD, associate professor in the Department of English, was recently invited to develop the first critical edition of Kate O’Brien’s As Music and Splendour by Syracuse University Press. This will be the first critical edition of any of O’Brien’s novels and marks a renewed commitment by the nation’s oldest Irish Studies Press to reinvigorating works by Irish women writers.
