Magrini Awarded Young Investigator Grant

Mitchel MagriniMitchel Magrini, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Exercise Science and Pre-Health Professions, was recently awarded a Young Investigator Grant through the National Strength and Conditioning Association Foundation for a project entitled: The Need for Speed: The Effects of a Power-Focused Resistance Training Program on Neuromuscular Function, T-Cell Activation Rates, and Fall Risk in Older Adults.

Co-Investigators include Dr. Kelley Hammond, Dr. Leland Barker, Dr. Jake Siedlik, and Dr. Dimitrios Katsavelis from EXP and Dr. Terry Grindstaff in the Department of Physical Therapy.
