Cerutis Receives NIH Award

Cerutis_Delie-webRoselyn Cerutis, PhD, associate professor of oral biology in the School of Dentistry, received a three-year National Institutes of Health (NIH) award. The title of Cerutis’ study is “The Role of LPA1 in the Etiology of Periodontal Disease.” The project aims to exploit the potential oro-dental benefits inherent in manipulating the lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) system as a druggable target to treat periodontal disease.
