2019 St. Albert’s Day/University Research Day

The annual  St. Albert’s Day/University Research Day was held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.   This event allows students to highlight the depth and breadth of research at Creighton University. There were over 175 presentations this year representing 30 different departments from six of the nine schools and colleges. The winners for each category are listed below.   Lunch included the presentation of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) People’s Choice competition and award, the presentation of the Dr. Robert Heaney Graduate Research Mentor Award (Dr. Nancy Hanson), the Dr. and Mrs. Randolph Ferlic Undergraduate Research Mentor Award (Dr. Annemarie Shibata), and the presentation of the University Research Awards. Dr. Jason Bartz and Dr. Bruce Mattson presented their research during the luncheon to a full room of interested participants and visitors.
