Doll to Give Keynote Address

SPAHP_Doll_JoyCTJoy Doll, OTD, OTR/L, executive director of the Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CIPER) has been invited to give the keynote address for the J. Rhodes Haverty Lecture Series hosted by the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions at Georgia State University on Thursday, Oct. 10.

For 15 years, the J. Rhodes Haverty Lecture has brought nationally recognized experts in health care to discuss relevant health issues with their faculty, staff, students, alumni and the local healthcare community. The lecture was established to honor the work of founding dean, Dr. J. Rhodes Haverty. Previous speakers include Susan Dentzer of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; Dr. Harvey Fineberg, Institute of Medicine; Rosalynn Carter, former First Lady and co-founder of the Carter Center; Dr. Helene Gayle, President and CEO, CARE, USA and Dr. Otis Brawley, Chief Medical Officer, American Cancer Society.
