From Dec. 8-17, School of Law Professor Sean Watts traveled to Israel as part of an academic delegation. The group met with representatives of the Israeli government, the Palestinian Authority, as well as private citizens in the region. The group received and participated in briefings on subjects including historical land claims, legal issues, settlement activity, security cooperation, public opinion, and plans for peace. Professor Watts moderated a panel on the Law of War that included officers and officials from the Israeli Defense Forces and Ministry of Justice.
