Joan Lappe, PhD, RN, FAAN, professor of nursing and associate dean for research, has been selected by the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) Board of Trustees to deliver the Lawrence G. Raisz, MD Memorial Lecture at the Interdisciplinary Symposium on Osteoporosis (ISO) 2018, on May 18 in New Orleans. The ISO is the premier clinical conference for healthcare professionals who treat patients with and at risk for osteoporosis and fractures. The Raisz Lecture is the highest award bestowed by NOF.
