Virtual Workshops and Groups Held by Student Counseling Services

Creighton’s Student Counseling Services will be offering various workshops, therapy groups, and self-help resources virtually for undergraduate and graduate students! Please contact Student Counseling Services or visit our website for more details.

Workshops

    • Anxiety & Stress Relief Workshop (bi-weekly starting Feb 3)
    • Overcoming Depression Workshop (bi-weekly starting Feb 10)
    • Mindfulness Workshop (monthly starting Feb 10)
    • Body Image Workshop (monthly starting Feb 24)

All workshops are 1-hour, 1-time workshops focused on giving students practical tools for managing common concerns. All workshops will be held at 5 p.m. via Zoom on Wellness Wednesdays; there is one scheduled for every week of the semester. Groups

    • About Parents - for students who may have a parent(s) with mental illness
    • Sexual Violence Support - survivors to sexual violence or assault
    • Grief Support - primarily parent or sibling loss
    • Connections - ALL relationship struggles, loneliness concerns (this group will run if we have enough interest)

TAO

We now partner with an organization called TAO (Therapy Assistance Online) thereby giving our students free access to all these self-help resources. TAO has video modules to help with ADHD concerns, motivation, anxiety, depression, mindfulness, self-compassion, etc… hundreds of interactive resources that can be tailored to each individual student’s needs.
