The Kingfisher Award recognizes outstanding Creighton faculty and staff who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the enduring values, principles, and practices of the humanities.
Nomination materials are due by June 30. Nominations should include:
- letter(s) of nomination and support,
- the nominee’s curriculum vitae (CV) or resume, and
- statement from the nominee (optional).
Materials can be submitted via this online form, or sent to the Office of the President in hard copy in care of David Barnum. The awardee will receive a financial award for research and scholarship and a kingfisher statuette designed and made by a known artist. Re-nominations of previous nominees are welcome.
