Anna SelmeckiAnna Selmecki, PhD, assistant professor of medical microbiology and immunology in the School of Medicine, along with doctoral candidate Robert Todd, senior Tyler Wikoff in the College of Arts and Sciences, and Anja Foche, PhD, research assistant professor in biology at Bowdoin College, published an article in eLife, ”Genome Plasticity in Candida albicans is driven by long repeat sequences.” Selmecki and Todd presented this research at three internal conferences this summer, including the Federation of European Microbiological Societies conference on Human Fungal Pathogens, where Selmecki was a plenary speaker.
