On Jan. 1, 2020, Senior Director of Public Safety Michael D. Reiner assumed the chair of the Omaha Heartland Chapter of ASIS International. He will serve a 2-year term leading the group. ASIS International is the leading professional organization for the security industry, representing a global community of over 34,000 security practitioners, each with a role in the protection of people, property, and/or information. The Omaha Heartland Chapter is comprised of about 150 security professionals from the Omaha metropolitan area and the surrounding region of Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska. The chapter meets monthly at various venues in and around Omaha to network with security colleagues and stay informed on the global and local security landscape.
