Doll Keynote Speaker on Collaboration

SPAHP_Doll_JoyJoy Doll, OTD, OTR/L, executive director of the Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CIPER) will be keynote speaker at the 2019 Annual Missouri Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA) Conference on Oct. 26, at Rockhurst University on the topic of collaboration.

Doll, a champion for interprofessional education (IPE) and collaborative practice, has helped facilitate teams of both academicians and clinicians to develop comprehensive IPE to meet the disciplinary accreditation requirements for 8 health professions programs and works with CHI Health to establish collaborative practice. In addition, she has published a book on grant writing and multiple scholarly publications along with giving a TEDx Talk.

MOTA represents the needs of Occupational Therapy practitioners and students in the state of Missouri and is an affiliate member with the American Occupational Therapy Association. MOTA’s mission is to preserve the foundation of the profession, provide continuing education to their members, foster future leaders, and advocate for the profession of occupational therapy to consumers, stakeholders and legislators.
