Skrabal Assumes Role of Immediate Past Chair for AACP

SPAHP_Skrabal_MaryannMaryann Z. Skrabal, PharmD, CDE, director of Office of Experiential Education and associate professor of the Department of Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy and Health Profession completed her term as chair of the Experiential Education Section of the American Association of College Pharmacy (AACP) and assumed the duties of immediate past chair at the AACP Annual Meeting in Chicago, July 13-17. Skrabal was elected to a 3-year term to serve as chair elect (17-18), chair (18-19) and immediate past chair (19-20). She oversaw the annual business meeting, as well as the 16 committees and task forces the section had this past year. The AACP Experiential Education Section has 1,100 members.

The mission of AACP is to lead and partner with their members in advancing pharmacy education, research, scholarship, practice and service to improve societal health.

AACP provides member services – including meetings and events, webinars, continuing education, publications, reports and searchable directories for faculty, speakers and grants. AACP also works to promote the profession of pharmacy and the value of pharmacy education to audiences beyond the academic community.
