Kate Nolt, MPH, PhD, assistant professor and Master of Public Health practicum coordinator in the Graduate School’s Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, presented at the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society annual meeting Mental Health Forum in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Her topic was entitled, “Using Motivational Interviewing as a Brief Intervention with Athletes Who Consume Alcohol; Alcohol and Its Effect on Sport Performance.” Dr. Nolt also was also invited to present at the Commonwealth Prevention Alliance funded by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD). Her topic was “Fidelity and Adaptation to Community Programming – Is it really cheating?”
