Oshin Named STEM Corridor Faculty Leader

Kayode Oshin, PhD, professor of chemistry,Oshin_300px has been named the Haddix 24th Street STEM Corridor Faculty Leader. The program, made possible by the recent $10 million gift from George and Susan Haddix to the College of Arts and Sciences, brings Creighton’s mission into the community, while introducing high-achieving high school students to what an outstanding undergraduate degree in the sciences at Creighton University offers them.“Working with young people to enhance their curiosity of science is very important to me,” said Oshin. “Through this program, we will be able to nurture and mentor selected high school students to engage in different STEM disciplines as they work towards their individual career goals.”
