The winners of the 2016 Citizens of the Year were also announced Friday. They are husband and wife Steve Martin, CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, and Dr. Amy Haddad, director of the Center for Health Policy and Ethics and the Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Endowed Chair in the Health Sciences at Creighton University.
