Ryan Spangler, PhD, associate professor of Modern Languages and Literatures, has been named the new assistant director of the Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship.
In his new role, Spangler will be directing the Summer Undergraduate Research and Creative Projects program, editing Creighton’s Undergraduate Research Journal, Quest, and will be Creighton’s faculty director for the National Scholarship and Fellowship Opportunities and Resources (SOAR) Program. Spangler joins Carol Fassbinder-Orth, PhD, director of the Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship, and Katherine Liu, research program planner, in the CURAS leadership team.
