Fr. Hendrickson to Provide Update on the University at Town Hall

To kick off the new 2021-2022 academic year, Creighton President the Rev. Daniel S. Hendrickson, SJ, PhD, will share updates on the University with faculty and staff during the annual Presidential Town Hall Tuesday, Aug. 24.

The hour-long program will start at 3:30 p.m. (CDT), 1:30 p.m. (MST), in the Hixson-Lied Auditorium at the Harper Center. It will be livestreamed for faculty and staff at the Creighton Health Sciences Campus – Phoenix during a watch event in the Doris S. Norton Ballroom, with snacks and beverages provided.

Fr. Hendrickson will address the current state of Creighton University and highlight recent achievements, current campus growth and future projects. Topics will include enrollment data, updated brand pillars, financial health and stability, the Phoenix campus, progress on our new residential hall and the upcoming campus climate survey.

A brief question-and-answer period will follow the address.

To conclude the program, the recipient of this year’s annual Kingfisher Award will be announced. The award is presented to an outstanding faculty or staff member who demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to the enduring values, principles and practices of the humanities. This presidential award is given in partnership with the University’s Kingfisher Institute for the Liberal Arts and Professions.

On the Omaha campus, a reception will immediately follow the Town Hall, in the Harper Center ballroom. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided.
