Creighton Dining (Sodexo) staff members Chef Charles Newlin and Catering Manager Joe Lullo were awarded the Sodexo Presidential Safety Award, a national designation.
The two received the award for their awareness, quick thinking and taking action. Earlier this year they witnessed a co-worker lying on the ground, having fallen from a stroke. Thanks to Newlin and Lullo’s quick response, the staff member is on the fast track to recovery.
