Twitter Password Changes

Twitter is urging all users to change their passwords due to an internal glitch the social media platform discovered Thursday. Twitter discovered a bug where passwords were stored in plain text in an internal company log. The issue has been fixed, and a company investigation hasn’t found a breach or misuse by anyone. However, they are asking users to change passwords out of an abundance of caution.

We recommend you change your Twitter password soon to keep your account, and any Creighton accounts you may manage, safe and secure. You can find information on how to update your password and turn on other security measures, such as two-factor authentication, on Twitter’s website here.
