University Committee on Lectures, Films, and Concerts

The University Committee on Lectures, Films and Concerts is charged with the goal to plan and coordinate a program of lectures, films, and concerts for the cultural enrichment of the University community through providing funding to students, faculty and staff wishing to host events on campus. Additionally, the Committee, in cooperation with the designated members of the University, implements the guest speaker policies stated in the Student Handbook and Guide to Policies of Creighton University.

The committee encourages campus groups to apply for funding if they are hosting an event that would be categorized as a lecture, film, or concert. The committee can fund requests up to $1000.00 and all requests can be made online. These requests must be submitted at least three weeks before the event/activity date. For more information regarding funding guidelines and how to submit the funding request form, please visit the Lectures, Films, and Concerts Committee website. For further questions, please contact Katie Kelsey at 402.280.2518 or [email protected].
