On April 30, School of Medicine professor and associate dean for strategy and accreditation Thomas Svolos, MD, was an invited guest for a Miami webinar program “Dialogues in the City” sponsored by Lacanian Compass Miami. Svolos, practicing psychoanalyst, and Irma Barron, PhD, from Carlos Albizu University, were interviewed about coronavirus and the pandemic-its impact on people and how they live their lives, its impact on the practice of psychoanalysts and psychotherapists, and effects in society. The program attracted participants from North America and Europe.
