Research Study: Faculty Invited to Reflect on Pandemic’s Impact on Teaching, Student Learning

Pandemic teaching leaving you stressed? No time to reflect? Missing conversations with your Creighton colleagues? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you are invited to participate in a study conducted by Mary Ann Danielson, PhD, professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Communication Studies Secondary.

Faculty who have taught spring 2020 to present are invited to participate in the student and reflect on how teaching, courses and students’ learning were impacted by the shifts in teaching modalities, as prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Virtual focus groups will engage in 60 to 90 minutes of reflective conversation on your teaching, with an emphasis on the ways in which teaching and/or student learning was impacted.

All who complete the focus group will receive a gift card, courtesy of a grant awarded by the Center for Faculty Excellence. To participate in a focus group, or for more details, contact Danielson at [email protected].
