Samer Al-khateeb, PhD, an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science, Design and Journalism, published a journal article, “Flash Mob: A Multidisciplinary Review,” in the Social Network Analysis and Mining multidisciplinary journal.
The article investigates how the term “flash mob” is used in the literature of various disciplines, including software systems, education, biomedical research, communication studies, marketing, cultural studies and law. It also categorizes the different forms of “mob” based on common properties and identifies gaps in the literature concerning this topic.
