Brink Named Creighton University Libraries Head of Archives and Special Collections

The University Libraries completed a national search for a new leader of Archives and Special Collections and have selected Peterson Brink, CA, for the role.

Brink will manage University Archives holdings, containing materials related to the university and founders, Rare Books, a collection of valuable print materials from the 14th century to the present, and Special Collections, thematic collections that relate to the institution, a highlight of which is the Carlson Fables Collection.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in American History from Doane College, master’s degree in museum studies from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and is a Certified Archivist through the Academy of Certified Archivists. Brink has served the University of Nebraska – Lincoln as the Assistant University Archivist and Preservation Coordinator for the past 17 years.
