Salzman, Lawler Publish Several Articles

SalzmanLawlerTodd Salzman, PhD, professor in the Department of Theology recently published several articles with co-author Michael Lawler, PhD, professor emeritus of Catholic Theology. The first article “Can U.S. bishops’ support of discrimination against LGBT be sustained?” was published in the National Catholic Reporter. This article challenges the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and its ongoing support of legislation that discriminates against members of the LGBT community. Salzman and Lawler also published another article with the Omaha World Herald titled “Midlands Voices: Moral Principles Can Guide Us Toward a Just Society.”

Additionally, Salzman and Lawler published two journal articles. “Synodality in a Communion-Church,” in Asian Horizons: Dharmaram Journal of Theology and “Human Dignity and Homosexuality in Catholic Teaching: An Anthropological Disconnect between Truth and Love?“ in the Interdisciplinary Journal for Religion and Transformation in Contemporary Society.
