Takanari Miyamoto, DDS, PhD, MSD, MBA, associate professor of the Department of Periodontology and diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, was elected treasurer of the Southwest Society of Periodontists.
The Southwest Society of Periodontists has a rich history of over 60 years. From its inception, the society has been inclusive of all periodontists in the region and general dentists, as associate members. Its mission has been to serve its members in their specialty for quality health care and professional development.
