Todd Salzman, PhD, professor of theology, and Michael Lawler, PhD, professor emeritus of theology, recently published two articles:
“Amoris Laetitia a Turning Point: Cohabitation Revisited.” Irish Theological Quarterly (June 2019):1-19.
“Magisterium, Theologians, and the Need for Dialogue.” Horizons 46/1 (June 2019): 79-112.
The second article, in part, is their response to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ 2010 rebuke of their award winning book, The Sexual Person: Toward a Renewed Catholic Anthropology (Georgetown University Press, 2008), in light of Pope Francis’ promotion of, and call for, dialogue within the Catholic Church on controversial ethical issues.
