Kelly Dineen, RN, JD, PhD, assistant professor of law, has been active in publishing and presenting, including:

  • Presentations:
    • She was one of 20 national experts invited to participate and one of four invited to plan and facilitate the American Health Law Association’s opioid policy convener in Washington, D.C. in September 2018. She was the only law professor honored with an invitation.
  • Publications:
    • Co-designed and co-edited a symposium edition and wrote the introduction for Narrative Inquiry in Bioethics entitled “Living in Pain in the Midst of the Opioid Crisis” (published winter 2018).
    • Authoring two chapters, “Legal Issues in Critical Care” and “Ethical Issues in Critical Care in Critical Care Nursing: Diagnosis and Management (9th edition) (forthcoming 2019).
    • Authoring “Rewritten Opinion, Schloendorff v. Society of New York Hospital, 105 N.E. 92 (N.Y. 1914) “in Feminist Judgments: Rewritten Health Law Opinions (edited collection) (forthcoming 2019).
