Jean Hearn, PhD, assistant professor of education, was nominated by the Nebraska Department of Education to participate in a multi-state study that is being conducted by Educational Testing Service (ETS). The purpose of the study is to set a passing score and a set of standards for a test that prospective teachers in the United States must take and pass in order to enter the teaching profession. Hearn is one of only a few people in the United States selected for this national study.
