Jenny Tilleman, PharmD, associate professor in Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions was awarded the 2018 National Community Pharmacists Award, Pharmacy Leadership Award at the Nebraska Pharmacists Association Annual Convention in June. This award, sponsored by the National Community Pharmacists Award, recognizes the outstanding leaders of the 50 state pharmacy associations.Tilleman’s dedication to the Nebraska Pharmacists Association in her second term as President exemplifies the meaning of leadership as she selflessly volunteers her time and talents to lead the NPA in serving its mission. Encouraging pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to practice pharmacy with the goal of exceptional patient care, while serving as a mentor to student pharmacists is just one of many reasons why Tilleman is deserving of this prestigious award.
