Braymen, Goss Invited to Speak at 2018 World Trade Conference

Charles Braymen, PhD, CFA, associate professor of economics, served on a panel, moderated by the Omaha World-Herald’s Steve Jordon entitled “Looking Back to Look Forward”. Other panelists included Senator Ben Nelson and Tony “TR” Raimondo, Chairman & Coach, Behlen Manufacturing Company. The discussion covered the history of regional international trade from a government and local business perspective, and what the panelists think the future may hold from the same perspectives.
Ernie Goss, PhD, professor of economics, gave a presentation entitled ”Is International Trade the Next Economic Black Swan or Golden Geese?” which discussed his findings from banker and manufacturer surveys, regional economic trends and what government actions are telling us about our future economy.
