Kevin Graham (Department of Philosophy) and Emery Staton, junior, have received a grant from the Creighton University Teaching & Learning Center to support a collaborative scholarship of teaching and learning project during 2018-2019. The project, entitled “Supplemental Instruction in Symbolic Logic”, is designed to determine whether offering supplemental instruction to undergraduate students enrolled in an elementary symbolic logic course can enhance student learning with respect to the course learning objectives. Ms. Staton will provide supplemental instruction for Dr. Graham’s PHL 399 Symbolic Logic during Fall Semester 2018. Dr. Graham and Ms. Staton then plan to publish a co-authored article about their findings.
