Novel by Mullins Wins Second Place in Tucson Festival of Books Literary Awards

CCAS_Mullins_DavidThe Brightest Place in the World, a novel by David Mullins, MFA, associate professor of English was selected for second place—out of 620 manuscripts—in the Tucson Festival of Books Literary Awards. Novelist Kevin Canty was the judge in attendance with a grand of $500. Mullins will accept the award during the festival, at the University of Arizona, in March.
